Privacy policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Nibwrite is a Chrome extension and dashboard that fills job application forms from your resume and writes outreach messages. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read.

Who we are

Nibwrite is operated by Raj Kumar Gaur, India (“we”). Contact: privacy@nibwrite.co.in.

What we collect

DataWhy we need it
Account: your email address and a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider)To sign you in and keep your data private to you.
Your resume: the file you upload, its extracted text, and the structured profile the AI builds from itTo fill forms and write messages with your real experience.
Profile and saved answers: name, phone, location, links, notice period, expected pay and any answers you saveTo answer common questions the same way every time.
Message templates you generate or editSo you can reuse them.
Fill history: the address and title of pages you used Nibwrite on, and how many fields were filledSo you can find applications again. You can delete entries in the dashboard.
Usage records: which feature ran, when, which AI model, token counts, duration and success or failureTo enforce monthly limits, fix errors and understand costs. These records contain no resume text, answers or form content.

What we do not collect: your browsing history, passwords or payment details, or the contents of pages where you haven’t clicked “Fill with Nibwrite”. We don’t use advertising or analytics trackers, and this website sets no cookies.

What the extension reads in your browser

Only when you start a fill, Nibwrite reads the form on that page: field labels, the options of dropdowns and radio buttons, and the job title or company if shown. It writes the answers into the form and highlights them. On LinkedIn it also reads the visible job or person you’re looking at (for example company, role, job ID) locally, to prefill your message templates; that is not sent anywhere until you ask to generate templates, and then only your own profile is sent. Nibwrite never presses Submit.

AI processing

To work out answers, our server sends the form’s fields together with the profile built from your resume to a third-party AI provider, DeepSeek (api.deepseek.com). That profile can include your name, contact details, employment history and education. DeepSeek is operated from outside India and processes this data under its own terms to return an answer. We do not allow it to be used by us for anything else, and we don’t send your account password or payment information. Our API key is held only on our server, never in your browser.

If you are not comfortable with this, don’t upload a resume, or ask us to delete your account. We plan to offer a choice of providers and will update this policy when that changes.

Who else handles your data

We do not sell your data, rent it, or use it for advertising. We use it only to provide Nibwrite’s features, and we don’t use it to judge creditworthiness or for lending.

Keeping it safe

Each person’s data is isolated by row-level security so one account cannot read another’s. Connections use HTTPS. Server functions check your sign-in on every request and limit request sizes. No system is perfect; if we find a breach affecting you, we’ll tell you promptly.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your fill history and saved answers in the dashboard at any time. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email privacy@nibwrite.co.in from your account address; we’ll do it within 30 days. Anonymised usage records (token counts and timings, no content) may be kept afterwards for cost and reliability analysis.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you your data, correct it, delete it, or stop processing it. If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you these rights; if you are in the EU or UK, so does the GDPR. Write to privacy@nibwrite.co.in. We’ll answer within 30 days.

Children

Nibwrite is for people looking for work and is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll say so on this page and, where we can, by email. The date at the top shows the latest version.
